The Jentra Plug is designed to close the open cavity at the bottom of the grip, not allowing debris to enter and reach trigger assembly and firing pin. The Jentra Plug also fits flush to eliminate snagging on open cavity. Used by Law enforcement and military worldwide.

This plug does help in keeping your pistol cleaner and also helps make the butt of the grip look more "finished". I am in favor of any addition to my pistol that helps insure its reliability when you need it the most.
