Taurus factory mags are the only game in town when 24/7 mags are concerned. They have been fighting a battle with mags that don''t feed right and have had at least 3 or 4 different follower/spring variations in their quest for proper function. My mags came with different follower/springs than those furnished with the pistol and some work just fine....if you can get them loaded. Getting more than 10 rounds in is hard without using a loading tool. Got an UPLULA inbound to fix that problem. These mags need checked before use too. Make sure the followers will clear the baseplate when fully loaded. I have 7 mags and only 3 would hold the full 12 without taking a bit off the follower so that last round would fit without excessive force on the feed lips and allowing enough extra movement to get the mag seated with slide closed. Also, several of my mags would catch their follower on the latch cutout around 4 rounds. No biggie, just file the forward edge a bit until it clears...which is what Taurus did. On some, they didn''t take enough off so you need to finish the job to make them work 100%. Some people say you shouldn''t need to work on the mags to make them function properly. This is probably true....but since these are the only mags you can get for the pistol, the only other choice is to send them back...which is a hassle. A few minutes checking, maybe a swipe with the file and all is good. I choose this option rather than sending them back. I know these work perfectly now and they seem to be made of good materials and should last a long time.

I picked up two spare magazines for my service pistol and these have performed flawlessly. I would definitely recommend them to my fellow officers. Keep them clean along with the pistol and I''d bet you would never experience a feed issue.

The high cap mags are supposed to hold 12 rounds, they only hold 11 and the last one is really hard to put in even with a mag loader. I think I will stick with Ruger.
